Hey Bou Beginner Crochet Workshop

Join us for a relaxed, friendly session of connection and creativity! Whether you're picking up a hook for the first time or brushing up on your skills, this workshop is the perfect introduction to the craft of crochet.

📍 9 Trinity Way, Pakenham
⏰ 2-hour session
💲 $20 per person

Our friendly instructor will guide you through all the fundamentals, including:

• Matching yarn with the right hook
• Finding the middle thread (and why it matters)
• Starting knot
• Mastering the chain stitch
• Stitch techniques - 1 stitch per session
  • DC - double crochet
  • SC - single crochet
  • HSC - half single crochet
• Starting your very own coaster or rectangular scarf or circle if tension is good
• Importance of tension
• Max of 6 people, to ensure individual attention

By the end of the session, you'll have the skills to keep creating — and a project underway to take home with you!

Grab your own hook and yarn on the day and take your new skills further.

Lisa is a qualified teacher with all relevant Working With Children checks, so families can feel confident joining in.
