Child / Adult Beanies

Our handmade crocheted or knitted beanies are perfect for keeping your head warm as a fashion accessory and of course covering those bad hair days too 😊

Generally our heads stops growing around the age of 8, so children 8 years old and above should fit an adult sized beanie depending on the firmness of the fit.

These beanies should fit people 8 years and into adulthood. Happy wearing 😊

Fitting/Sizing

When fitting a beanie it is important to think about the firmness the person or you likes. For instance, my head measures 56cm (22") around my hair line, but, can fit a 45cm ribbed beanie. Each beanie title has the sizes in centimetres of the stretch. Take for instance Pink Child/Small Adult Beanie 1 Inch Rib (video) 42-50cm H 19cm - this beanie will suit a person with the head circumference between 42 to 50cm. This information reflects the firmness of the fit.

The height of a beanie is measured from the edge of the beanie to the middle of the crown 19cm, or measure from side/side or front/back and half that measurement.
